Van Hien University makes its mark at the “Emulation
block 22 sports festival” – Academic year 2024 - 2025
Recently, the Emulation Block 22 Sports
Festival for the academic year 2024–2025 was held at the Ho Chi Minh City Cadre
Academy, featuring the active participation of eight member institutions. This
annual sporting event serves as a meaningful initiative to promote physical
well-being and foster greater engagement and connection among universities and
academies across Ho Chi Minh City.
This year’s event carried special
significance as it was organised to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the
Reunification of Vietnam (30 April 1975 – 30 April 2025) — a historical
milestone for the nation.
Representing Van Hien University, a team of
staff and lecturers participated in four competitive categories:
• Men’s Football
• Table Tennis
• Sack Race
• Tug of War
With a spirit of unity, determination, and
sportsmanship, Van Hien University’s team competed with passion and resilience,
overcoming strong contenders to proudly secure the Championship Title in Men’s
Football. This achievement is a testament to the team’s relentless efforts and
their admirable commitment to sporting excellence.
The Sports Festival concluded in a vibrant
and enthusiastic atmosphere, leaving behind memorable impressions and further
strengthening the bonds between institutions within Emulation Block 22.
Moreover, it successfully promoted a culture of dynamic engagement, supporting
holistic development — both physically and mentally — within the context of
modern higher education.
